Trump spent years calling Joe Biden “Sleepy Joe.” Now look at this picture and tell me it doesn’t look as though he’s struggling to stay awake at a 9/11 ceremony.
Can I prove he was sleeping from a photograph? Nope. But imagine Biden in that exact same picture. Think Trump would have politely reserved judgment? Think he would have said, “Let’s be fair. Maybe Joe was reflecting”?
Yeah. Me neither.
I’m a husband and a dad. I understand being tired. Shit, I understand needing a nap. But when you’ve made somebody else’s supposed sleepiness a running insult, you don’t get to act surprised when people notice your eyes are closed.
